We are looking for a leader with a strong professional demeanor and is interested in improving our facilities to support UAS’s mission of Student learning enhanced by faculty scholarship, undergraduate research and creative activities, community engagement, and the cultures and environment of Southeast Alaska. To thrive in this position, a candidate would need to take satisfaction in playing a supporting role to a team of Administrators, Faculty, Students, Staff, Architects, Engineers, and Contractors as they plan, design and construct new buildings or renovate existing buildings. The candidate would enjoy coordinating each team member's skills, weaknesses, motivations, and interests for the benefit of the University. Typical workdays are spent sitting behind a computer, answering emails, reviewing plans, tracking budgets, verifying work complies with scope and ensuring all team members are fulfilling their rolls to complete projects on time, within scope, and under-budget.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Four years of relevant project management experience or a combination of advanced education and experience in a related field.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Juneau campus in Juneau, Alaska. This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule, Grade 80-82, based on education and experience.
