DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT: SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Director of Development for the School of Public Health Advancement team. The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and implement strategies, direction, coordination, and management of major gift activities for the School of Public Health. This will include identifying, cultivating, and successfully soliciting alumni, individuals, corporations, and foundations for major gifts to support their assigned School of Public Health educational, research, and community outreach programs. This position functions as an integral part of a team of fundraising professionals in the Office of Advancement to design and implement successful fundraising programs that include annual giving, planned giving, and major gifts to maximize private gift support.
The position will also lead and direct an alumni affairs specialist in the School of Public Health. This position reports to the Associate Vice President for Development and coordinates daily activities with the Dean and other University officials.
This position is full-time, hybrid eligible after the probational period.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Annual Salary Range: $63,875 - $92,000
