Under the direction of the Director, Learning and Organizational Development the Senior Learning and
Development Specialist is responsible for the design development and implementation of learning and development programs designed to improve and advance employee performance required to support University Hospitals vision, mission and goals.
: A Bachelor's degree in business, management, education, behavioral science or related area, required. Five (5) years of professional, and management training experience required, including some experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Two (2) years in a supervisory role preferred. A Master's degree in education, behavioral science or related field preferred. Must be able to design and conduct stand-up presentations and facilitate work groups. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to interface with all levels of management. Experience in assessing, designing, customizing and delivering training programs required. Should be familiar with on-line learning strategies and various instructional technologies. Equivalent experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirement
