Universal Therapeutic Services, LLC is Hiring a Patient Access Specialist Near Greenville, SC

Obtain and complete accurate patient demographic information and provides effective communication skills, promoting excellent customer service in every interaction.

Work with management/leadership team on institution-wide process improvement projects to ensure the highest quality of customer service and maximum hospital reimbursement.

Provide responsive and professional customer service through in-person meetings, telephone/conference calls, email, and social media communication.

Provide exceptional customer service by consistently greeting customers, understanding their needs, recommending services and instituting the triage process 

Acts as the first point of contact for patients/clients for Universal Therapeutic Services. Communication skills can be considered to be the most important personality trait for a patient access representative to have. Customer service representatives must be able to provide clear information in writing, by phone or in person.

Register/enroll patients with a high degree of accuracy and timely efficiency by gathering patient information, communicating with patients, family members, and caregivers. Assisting with insurance processing. 

Highly proficient utilizing a computer and various computer applications.

Use EMR software to assist in the management of patient records and files; reinforce and uphold patient confidentiality as required by HIPPA 

Educate eligible applicants about Medicaid Enrollment. Pivotal to have excellent listening skills, great patience, and excellent problem solving skills.

Maintain accurate patient information within confidential patient accounts and electronic medical records in compliance with national HIPAA standards

Respond to telephone inquiries, providing quality service to customers and insurance representatives inquiring about patient accounts

Complete the triage process in detail for each client in a timely manner, return calls to all clients in a timely manner, 

Review, educate, send, and attain signatures on all necessary patient/client intake and consent forms.

Complete Triage/Behavioral Screening Form with patient

Accurately schedule patients for their first Initial Comprehensive Assessment Session with assigned therapist

Participate in all assigned/requested mtgs timely.

All other duties as assigned
