How we LEAD:
We are currently seeking a Software Developer to join our Content Protection department. In this vital role, you will develop innovative software solutions to support our team's efforts in safeguarding digital content against unauthorized access and distribution. You will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and managing systems that ensure the integrity and security of content across various platforms. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be pivotal to devise strategies that enhance our content protection measures.

How you'll CREATE:

• Design and develop secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Collaborate with the Content Protection team to understand requirements and implement effective security measures.
• Utilize Python3, SQL (PostgreSQL), JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3 to build and optimize applications.
• Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Implement and manage database operations, including CRUD functions, to support application needs.
• Contribute to the development and integration of APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange between systems.
• Maintain and enhance existing software solutions, ensuring they meet evolving security standards.
• Participate in code reviews, maintaining high standards of code quality and system reliability.

Bring your VIBE:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 1 year of non-internship experience in software engineering.
• Proficient in Python3, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL), including designing and managing databases.
• Solid foundation in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for front-end development.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with Retool front-end software for rapid UI prototyping.
• Experience using Jira for project tracking.
• Data science experience and its methodologies.
• Knowledge of web scraping/crawler technologies, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
• Understanding of security principles and their application in software development and a familiarity with security frameworks like OWASP.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Proficiency in Git/GitHub for version control.
• Experience with Bash scripting in Linux environments.
• Exposure to cloud services (primarily AWS, and Azure, Google Cloud experience are nice to haves) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes).
• Understanding of data formats (CSV, JSON, Excel) and their manipulation.
