Compensation: $22.79/Hour , based on experience
Hours Per Week: 20

The Culinary Services Café SupervisorPlans, organizes, coordinates, and directs high-quality, cost-effective food services for cafeteria and catering operations that meet or exceed TJC, regulatory and budget requirements. Research, tests, and develops recipes and new menu items. As well as hires, schedules, trains, evaluate and conduct formal discipline. Supervises entire department alone on specified weekends and holidays. This position will work 20 hours/week until June while you train under the incumbent. The position will then require 40 hours/week. Minimum Requirements:
Three (3) to five (5) years related food service management or chef manager experience.
Must possess (or be able to obtain in 6 months) State Restaurant Manager Sanitation Certificate (Servsafe).
Strong working knowledge of quantity scratch cooking with emphasis on quality.
Must be able to work side-by-side with food production staff and manage same.
Strong working knowledge of cafeteria, retail sales and catering operations required, with demonstrated ability to manage large scale food procurement and production systems.
Demonstrated ability to train and work with staff to produce high quality food services.
Demonstrated ability to utilize computerized food service systems (Point of Sale) required.
Strong working knowledge of cash handling, financial audit systems and standards of internal controls
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates or bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, Foodservice Management or Dietetics.
Servsafe certified.
