This position is responsible for ensuring Talent Management processes are compliant with legal regulations and company policy. This position will ensure proper record collection and retention of Talent Management related documents.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversees maintenance of team member files
Monitors and trains stores on Talent Management processes
Administers the Drug Screening and Background Check programs
Serves as the point on Unemployment claims
Serves as the point on Compensation Analysis
Maintains and reviews Job Descriptions and FLSA compliance
Maintains and reviews I-9 and paperwork compliance
Serves as point on HR data and reporting such as turnover and retention
Responsible for working with IT staff on payroll software upgrades/implementation
Responsible for generating annual EEO-1 reports
Ensures compliance on labor law posters
Ensures compliance with child labor laws
Serves as point for company immigration matters
All other duties as requested or required by supervisor
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2 years of Human Resources generalist or compensation experience
SHRM/HRCI Credentials preferred
Knowledgeable of state and federal laws regarding employment practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with an HRIS system preferred
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
