Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) is seeking a responsible, organized and experienced office manager to work with the Administrative Director to manage all DC and State administrative duties. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: processing payments to vendors and keeping track of office subscriptions; managing the official office credit card; managing physical aspects of the office including maintenance, repair, framing etc.; coordinating personnel items such as staff keys, IDs, parking and metro benefits; working with telecom representatives to manage telephone and voicemail issues; assisting Systems Administrator with technical support of computers, cell phones, copiers, etc.; serving as the Office Emergency Coordinator and ensuring overall continuity of operations; overseeing records management and archiving. Successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized and able to manage administrative items for a large staff and multiple state offices.
