Midwestern Republican Senator seeks a Digital Assistant based in Washington, DC. Primary duties include developing and managing social media and online communications strategy for the Senator and Office and creating and posting content on all the Office’s digital media platforms. Typical responsibilities are maintaining a working knowledge of issues, legislation, and activities important to the Senator and the Office, in coordination with Communications Director developing short- and long-term Office digital media strategies relying in part on social media trends and data analytics to drive user engagement, as well as relevant metrics to increase optimization. Digital Assistant will monitor social media sites for articles and postings about the Senator and/or of interest to the Office.
