Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations issues effectively, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Administer FMLA and other leave programs in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints or concerns, maintaining confidentiality and fairness throughout the process.
- Collaborate with the safety team to ensure a safe and compliant work environment, including creating safety reports and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, such as recognition programs, feedback mechanisms, and team-building activities.
- Partner with department managers and leaders to identify talent development needs and provide coaching and support for leadership development.
- Stay current with relevant employment laws and regulations, ensuring company policies and practices remain compliant.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on employee relations, FMLA administration, and employee investigations.
- SHRM or PHR certification is a plus.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
