We are now seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting team at our corporate office. In this role, you will accurately and timely record and process expenses.

Your other essential duties and responsibilities will include:

• Verifying proper approval on all invoices and check requests
• Coding invoices
• Preparing and processing payments for multiple companies
• Update and maintain vendor database
• Audit and verify expense reports
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Maintain accounts payable files
• Special projects as assigned

Experience and Skills:

Your qualifications should include a minimum of 2 years recent experience in Accounts Payable. You also must have the following:

• Ability to work in a team environment that requires strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have the flexibility to handle various job assignments, and deliver quality output while still meeting deadlines
• Ability to process 200-300 invoices per week
• An eye for detail, accuracy is imperative
• Ability to process and follow-up on rush items
• Knowledge of all MS Office Products with intermediate level experience in Excel.
• Documented history of experience with one or more of the following accounting systems: Quickbooks, Great Plains, Peachtree, SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle or other comparable accounting systems
• Be familiar with various payments forms (i.e. check, ACH, wire, etc.)
• Experience with 1099 preparation
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and analytical skills
Ability to be a team member and display initiative
