**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Buyer to join our team. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials to meet the company's operational needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize cost savings
- Source and purchase materials, components, equipment, and services
- Evaluate suppliers' performance based on quality standards, delivery time, and best prices
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels and manage material flow to ensure continuity of supply
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and create purchase plans
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory
**Skills:**
- Proficient in procurement management and supply chain practices
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers
- Knowledge of MRP systems and Oracle EBS for efficient purchasing processes
- Experience in materials management to optimize inventory levels
- Familiarity with quality management standards to ensure product integrity
- Understanding of logistics to coordinate timely deliveries
- Ability to fabricate solutions when faced with supply chain challenges
