POSITION SUMMARY:
As Marketing Events Coordinator you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of United Energy Workers Healthcare’s resource fairs held nationwide, as well as planning and executing our semi-annual Sales Training summits. The Marketing Events Coordinator will demonstrate leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, organize, and execute all United Energy Workers Healthcare resource fairs held nationwide, ensuring seamless coordination of logistics, vendors, and attendees.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, venues, and other event-related partners to ensure the success of each event.
• Create and manage event budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate event promotion and marketing efforts to maximize attendance and engagement.
• Oversee the design and production of event materials, such as signage, promotional items, and marketing collateral.
• Manage event registration processes, including online registration systems and attendee communications.
• Provide on-site management and support during events, including managing staff and volunteers, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring overall event success.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of event goals with company objectives and messaging.
• Evaluate event success and provide post-event analysis and recommendations for future improvements.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position supervises no one.

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in a corporate or professional setting.
• Proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale events, including resource fairs and local community events.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Flexibility to travel as needed for events, including weekends and evenings.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to event planning and execution.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
• Demonstrated budget consciousness with a keen eye for financial management, ensuring events are executed within budgetary constraints while maximizing value and impact.
