This is a busy, people-oriented position where strong writing and multi-tasking skills are critical. The ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information is essential. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills

Ability to collect and accurately record payments

Responsibilities
Processing student bookings (both direct and agent generated)
Arranging and recording payments
Responsible for maintaining files up to date for all student bookings, including those with outstanding fees
Issuing and managing all documents pertaining to enrollments (invoices, enrollment forms, I-20s, etc.)
Data entry and management using Windows based software
Acting as a liaison with other office staff, assisting in the daily operations of the school and occasionally chaperoning student activities
Managing financial transactions involving students and regularly making deposits of monies collected for courses and activities.
Responsible for the management and tracking of petty cash and maintaining the petty cash box.

Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred, but must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D. Previous experience in a clerical position preferred. The individual must be organized and should be able to handle last minute changes and urgent requests made by students, parents, or staff. As a representative of the school, a polite, professional demeanor is necessary when having conversations, answering the telephone, and responding to emails. Being conversational or fluent in Spanish is seen as an advantage. Working Conditions: This position is in an office environment where the noise level can be low to moderate. Must be able to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk up and down stairs. May include lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
