As a Company Driver for UNIS Transportation, you will transport non-Hazardous freight to our extensive clientele. This is year-round work, with consistent volumes picking up and delivering. 1^st shift start time will vary between 6am -8am.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers with friendly and positive attitude.
• Meet daily pick-up and delivery schedule
• Detecting freight damages at the time of pick-up.
• Able to work with handheld device
• Working in tandem with the company policies.
• Maintain company vehicle appearance.
• Completing all tasks as assigned by the dispatcher
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Specifications

• Should have excellent written as well as verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with co-workers.
• Familiar with receiving and shipping processes

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

• High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Pass Background Check / Drug Screen
• Must have a “Class A” issued by the driver’s state of residence.
• Must have 2 to 3 years of job-related experience as a CDL Class A driver.
• TWIC card is preferred but not required
• Valid Driver’s License record for consideration)
• Able to work in a warehouse environment.
• Able to lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
