Greetings,

Role Software Architect

Location :- Albany, NY

Duration :- 12 Months

Client: State of New York

The candidate will be required to create/analyze the current system, document flows and gather user requirements.

They will also be in charge of creating design documents and functional specifications.

Will be responsible for coding, debugging, unit testing and integration testing of all user requirements adhering to standards and specifications.

Assist with QA and User Acceptance testing.

Will also be responsible for migrating the source code to appropriate repositories and publishing the application to different environments.

Description

60 months of COBOL/CICS/JCL/EZTrieve, in version z/OS 4.2.0/V3.2

24 months of programming using an object oriented language such as VB, C#, Java

60 months of business analysis and software design experience including preparing functional specifications, documenting workflow processes in UML modeling tools such as Visual Paradigm, Visio prototyping creation of logical data models

60 months testing experience including developing test case, creating comprehensive test plans, executing test plans, validating testing at both the data and system level

60 months of DB2 in version 10 or above

60 months debugging experience using CA-Interest or equivalent to resolve program problems and resolve user/system issues

24 months experience consuming and testing web services including the use of tools such as SoapUi.

24 months experience creating personalized communications from application code using Exstream or other customer communication management software.
