Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential care and support to our clients in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with medical equipment and supplies as needed
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
Experience:
- Previous experience in home care or senior care is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with medical records systems is a plus
- Knowledge of catheter care is beneficial
- Ability to cook nutritious meals for clients
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
