Duties:
- Provide assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices as needed.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing the client's living space.
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist with grocery shopping and running errands.
- Monitor and document changes in the client's condition or behavior.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a certified home health aide training program.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
