You are: Dependable, prompt, organized, and have a professional demeanor. Must be able to anticipate guest needs and be skilled at making people feel like they're home. Communication skills are a must (professional email correspondence, clear and consice phone conversation). It is also important to be able to conduct yourself in a calm, collected manner during busy moments of the day.
Job description: You will guide guests through our current tasting menu while educating them on Alsatian wines and company history. You will focus on wine sales and membership signups without it being the sole focus of the time our guests spend with us. Creating strong relationships with our customers and our brand is paramount.
Our philosophy: Wine knowledge a plus but not necessary for consideration. We can teach you about wine but hospitality and teamwork is a vibe. Previous hospitality work is helpful.
Schedule: Full time 9:00-5:30, Wednesday- Sunday .
Wage: Starting at $18/hour plus tips and bonuses.
Requirements: 21 years plus for wine service. Responsible Beverage Service training within 60 days of hire.
