Since 2013, our site Unither Manufacturing LLC. based in Rochester (NY), specializes in the manufacture of Blow-Fill-Seal, Liquid Stick-Packs, Pharmaceutical bottles, Tablets and Capsules. It has more than 280 employees.
Your role
Reporting to the Director of Finance/CFO,
The role balances the delivery ofBusiness IT Applications and operational support services. Projectresponsibilities support achievement of long term business strategicinitiatives and short term tactical requirements. As such this individualinterfaces and collaborates with business functions to define requirements,develop system configurations and design, implement and test required applicationsystems according to accepted specifications, time schedules and budgets.Additionally this function leads and supports other departments in theexecution of validation methodologies that ensure application regulatorycompliance. Operational responsibilities include application lifecyclemaintenance and administration as well as end user support and application incident,problem and work order resolution. Where required this function interfaces withother Group IT functions to ensure high levels of customer service and optimal applicationavailability and performance. E. SPECIFIC SKILLS:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applicationand System Deployments and Upgrades (30%)
Project manages IT solutions delivery in collaboration with business stakeholder project manager.
Manages application validation testing and change control activities.
Assists with training business application key / super users and administrators.
Integrates and interfaces applications and data repositories.
Manages application refresh/upgrade lifecycle activities.
Applications Available, Accessible and Function According to IntendedUse and Compliance Requirements (30%)
Creates and maintains application standard operating procedures and system configuration documents.
Proactively utilizes data to prevent occurrences that may impact application systems availability, function and/or performance.
Administers application security, bug and functional enhancement patches.
Analyzes existing business applications, procedures and practices with emphasis on continual function and performance improvement.
Researches and maintains knowledge of industry best practice application and reporting solutions.
Recommends application and operational process functional enhancements.
Consolidates, standardizes and simplifies application and data configurations and landscape where value is to be gained.
Develops and implements comprehensive application system solutions.)
Ensures applications meet business and user requirements.

Pipeline of leadership talent in key roles: Analyzes the skills and capabilities of the functional area; identifies future workforce requirements and identifies a means to close gaps. Incidents, Problems and Work Orders (10%)
Assess impact and urgency of incidents/problems affecting application availability, function and/or performance and resolves according to business impact priority.
Escalates issues as required by Group IT and/or vendor support.
Tracks and documents incident, problem solving actions and results through to completion.
OrganizationalAdoption of technology (5%)
Provides direction and leadership in the review of present IT systems and methods, and in the formulation of new and revised systems.
Presents a compelling business case that persuades groups and individuals to readily adopt new and existing technology for the purpose of performance improvement. Translates complex situations into simple, meaningful, explanations that others can grasp.
Continuously demonstrates efficiency and effectiveness of technology in improving organizational performance through delivery of integrated data management systems.
Experience in managing the delivery of complex IT solutions projects across multiple business disciplines
Knowledge of ERP Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Warehouse processes. Required systems application experience including or similar to the following:
Project Management
ERP Systems (JDEdwards)
Supply Chain material / inventory management systems, manufacturing execution systems.
Materials requirement planning (MRP) and Master Production Scheduling (MPS) applications.
Oracle/SQL Query scripting and XML Scripting.
Ability to create visual (Power BI preferred) reports..
Industrial manufacturing, packaging and distribution automation application experience.
Additional are a plus:
Essbase
Learning Management System (LMS)
Electronic Document Management System (EDMS)
F. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENT:
Standard Office Environment
Occasional visits to GMP gowned clean manufacturing and packaging areas.
Your profile
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred
IT support of manufacturing / packaging production environment – minimum 7 years (GMP environment desired but not required).
Demonstrated project management – minimum 5 years.
Awareness of, and insight into principles of computerized systems validation in pharmaceutical environment.
Compensation range
130,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD
*The referenced compensation range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
