Penn Power Group, LLC is Hiring an Information Technology Support Analyst Near Rochester, NY

Description

Penn Power Group is looking for an IT Support Analyst, working out of the Western NY area. The IT Support Analyst is responsible for quick resolutions to end user issues, software troubleshooting, and hardware installation. The specialist will need to be able to work well independently, while being supported by corporate IT staff out of the Philadelphia office. The IT Support Analyst will be based out of our Rochester office primarily 4 days a week (1 remote), but will need to travel between offices in Syracuse, Buffalo, and Owego on a regular basis based on company needs. 

Requirements

Role and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for in-person support for our Rochester, Owego, Buffalo, and Syracuse Branches

2. Managing inventory for our NY branches and coordinating with corporate IT

3. Work with our IT team to proactively identify problems and facilitate resolutions

4. Prioritize Helpdesk tickets and documents issues/resolutions thoroughly in Help Desk software

5. Troubleshoot workstation hardware and software issues for local and remote users

6. Provide some support and management of mobile phones / devices

7. Troubleshoot remote connectivity issues

8. Office 365 support and administration

9. Application support

10. Scheduled travel between Rochester, Buffalo, Owego, and Syracuse is required

Preferred Skills

1. Ability to work independently while providing updates to the corporate IT team

2. Ability to document processes accurately and clearly for policy and procedure knowledgebases

3. Excellent helpdesk/troubleshooting and prioritization skills

4. Excellent application and OS troubleshooting skills

5. Excellent customer interaction at all levels

6. Knowledge of basic networking (DHCP, DNS, IP addressing)

7. Familiarity with Active Directory

8. Office 365 support and administration
