Job Summary:
Unified Door & Hardware Group is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage the timely and accurate processing of customer orders, including packing and organizing deliveries.
• Safely operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to move merchandise and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records, conduct regular counts, and track stock movements to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Enforce safety protocols, keep work areas organized, and minimize hazards.
• Motivate warehouse staff, troubleshoot issues, and address customer concerns effectively.
• Adhere to shipping regulations and requirements for labeling, packaging, and documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize workflow and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the weld shop and schedule weekly production of all HM door and frame orders.
• Coordinate all shop orders for both the wood shop and metal shop.
• Coordinate between the purchasing department and project managers to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders and deliveries.
• Ensure smooth coordination between various departments for efficient warehouse operations.
• This additional responsibility entails supervising specific production areas within the warehouse, ensuring the timely completion of orders, and effective communication between departments to streamline operations.

Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in warehouse management or logistics is preferred

Experience: 

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse management or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong skills in maintaining accurate records, conducting stock counts, and tracking movements to prevent shortages.
• Proficient in shipping, receiving, order processing, and packing procedures.
• Competent in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, ensuring equipment maintenance.
• Knowledgeable about safety protocols, creating a safe work environment.
• Excellent organizational skills, prioritizing tasks and maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse.
• Ability to motivate and manage teams, resolving conflicts effectively. Strong at identifying and solving issues promptly.
• Effective communication with team members, customers, and vendors.
• Dedicated to delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Proactive approach to optimizing operations and enhancing efficiency.

Location:

• This position requires an onsite presence at our Salem, NH Site
