Underground Administration is Hiring a Principal Engineer - Transmission Lines Near Dallas, TX

Join an innovative Surveying and Engineering Company located throughout the US!
Salary DOE $(phone number removed) / year base
As a Principal Engineer, you will:
Provide technical leadership on complex electric transmission design projects.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in line routing, survey coordination, PLS-CADD modeling, structure design, foundation design, clearance checks, and more.
Lead and manage a project team, ensuring clear communication, goal alignment, and high-performance standards.
Motivate, coach, and mentor team members for continuous growth and development.
Manage projects, ensuring quality work and on-time delivery.
Review and approve engineering design submittals.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Estimate projects, develop proposals, and contribute to business development efforts.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Bachelor’s in Engineering (required)
Professional Engineer (PE) certification (required)
20 years of related transmission line engineering experience in the electric utility industry (required)
Extensive experience using PLS-CADD (required)
Deep understanding of design codes and standards such as: NESC, IEEE, ASCE, and ACI
Experience liaising with substation, environmental, real estate, construction, and maintenance stakeholders
Strong project management skills and experience
Adept self-starter with the ability to work in an unstructured, varied, and deadline-driven environment
Strong leadership skills, coaching ability, and project direction capabilities
Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
Commitment to safety regulations and practices
