We are a Boston-based nonprofit leader in gang-intervention and violence reduction. Uncornered was created to unlock the potential of Core Influencers (active and former individuals driving violence) to end community violence and generational urban poverty. These leaders have the brilliance, proximity and credibility to end violence in their communities. We support Core Influencers to use their influence, leadership abilities and networks to shift social norms in their crews (sets/gangs/groups) ? decreasing crime and increasing opportunity for all. Uncornered utilizes an approach that combines the credibility and trust of community-based mentors, the scaffold of high expectations, and the stability of financial support to provide support, time, and space for Core Influencers to heal, learn, grow, lead and succeed.

THE OPPORTUNITY - Development Operations Manager

As the Development Operations Manager you will play a pivotal role in advancing our work to eliminate community violence and create pathways for youth and young adults. In this role, you will manage a critical function of the Development department - the donor database. Your leadership and expertise will be essential in optimizing fundraising operations and ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of the organization?s donor database.

Responsibilities

Database Administrator

• Serve as the database leader and liaison, establishing integrated data systems and developing strategic analytic models and reports to provide insights to the management team.

• Oversee the development and execution of reports for tracking fundraising performance, assessing engagement, and other business needs.

• Maintain best practice methodologies for research techniques, reporting templates, and process documentation.

• Implement cutting-edge data maintenance techniques to ensure integrity, reliability, accuracy, and confidentiality of records.

• Provide leadership and supervision to Gifts and Records Management teams, ensuring compliance with IRS rules, CASE guidelines, and internal policies.

• Assess, recommend, implement, and manage enterprise hardware and software for prospect, donor, analytics, and reporting.

• Ensure proper training for all users of Raiser?s Edge and other systems.

Fundraiser

• Establish performance goals, metrics, and clarity for Development team functions, including Prospect Management and Research.

• Design and build comprehensive programs to identify, grow, evaluate, and track the prospect pool, facilitating seamless movement through the development cycle.

• Generate complex donor lists, gift reports, and labels, and create and maintain recurring and on-demand reports for key leaders and offices.

• Facilitate and prepare presentations of reports and analyses for senior management, board committees, and other stakeholders.

• Lead analytics efforts to ensure data-driven decision-making by leadership and management.
