Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Server Assistant to join our team. As a Server Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. Your primary responsibility will be to support the servers and bartenders in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Duties: - Assist servers and bartenders in taking food and drink orders from customers - Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner - Clear tables and reset them for the next guests - Refill water glasses and provide additional condiments as needed - Assist with food preparation, such as slicing bread or garnishing plates - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders - Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including wiping down tables and chairs - Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly - Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment Experience: - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required - Familiarity with team management and food service management is a plus - Knowledge of hotel, banquet, catering, or restaurant operations is beneficial - Basic bartending skills are desirable - Experience in interviewing, food handling, food production, or restaurant management is an asset We offer competitive pay rates and flexible scheduling options.
