The HR Generalist is a key role that involves managing and coordinating various human resource and payroll functions to include recruitment, payroll, and compliance.
Job Description
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely and effective recruitment.
- Maintain accurate employee records s and employee data.
- Generate reports and provide HR metrics.
- Coordinate and process weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payroll accurately and in a timely manner for US & Canada.
- Verify time and attendance records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including paperwork, orientation, and system access.
- Process terminations and conduct exit interviews, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Collaborate with HR BP and other HR professionals to support various HR initiatives and programs.
- Participate in HR projects as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR roles, with a focus on generalist responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
