Ultimate Staffing is working with a non-profit organization near Hanover, MD seeking an HR Generalist.
This is a direct hire / permanent role that is 100% on location.
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM -5:00 PM
$65,000 - $85,000 based on experience
Responsibilities:
Track and document compliance with mandatory training and continuing education.
Meet with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for future open positions.
Full cycle recruitment including posting on job boards, reviewing applicants, conducting phone screenings, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and presenting offer letters.
Handles employment related inquiries from employees and managers.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Conducts disciplinary meetings, exit interviews, and terminations.
Assists in annual open enrollment.
Assists in processing biweekly payroll utilizing Paylocity.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and/ or SHRM certification is highly preferred.
Must have at least 4 years experience in Human Resources.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, Googledocs, Teams, Outlook, and Paylocity
