UJet is Hiring a Remote Trainer & Learning Consultant

Opportunity

UJET’s Training and Enablement Team ensures that internal stakeholders, customers, and partners are provided with the knowledge, programs, and content required to be successful. As the Training and Learning Consultant, you will leverage your expertise in adult learning theory, instructional best practices, and technical product onboarding to lead exceptional learning experiences for a variety of audiences to achieve desired learning outcomes. This role is primarily responsible for utilizing established curricula to educate customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. In addition, you will collaborate with the Instructional Designer to refine learning assets for e-learning and live sessions. This position will work directly with Subject Matter Experts (SME) within or outside UJET.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate onboarding and training sessions for our global customers, both new and existing, in accordance with established programs, to ensure immediate adoption and success while creating lasting impact. 
  • Deliver live learning sessions that achieve clear objectives, engage learners, convey real-world understanding, and positively impact behavior and overall product adoption. 
  • Document and track training attendees, notes, and follow-ups for customers in Salesforce. In SFDC, include key information like session questions, concerns, red flags, or customer churn indicators. 
  • Customize, practice, and evaluate training talk tracks based on audience/buyer personas and company profiles while leveraging their business challenges to formulate success strategies. 
  • Work cross-functionally with the implementation and customer success teams to schedule training and provide information that has a direct impact on customer health and retention. 
  • Determine and apply assessment instruments to measure learner progress before, during, and after ILT sessions.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on training sessions/program effectiveness. 
  • Capture CSAT data after every session to drive training program evolution and professional development. 
  • Provide professional development and internal enablement (based on established curricula) to UJET employees. 
  • Host new hire onboarding training sessions. 
  • Collaborate with the instructional designer to create talk tracks and scripts for e-learning materials. 
  • Collate images, videos, and other assets as needed by the instructional designer for e-learning materials.
  • Lead open Q&A sessions with customers, partners, and professional service customers. 
  • Assist in building out repeatable training processes including documentation, scheduling, communication practices (i.e. welcome emails, follow-up emails, etc.), resource sharing, resource updating, etc. 
  • Host office hour sessions and webinars for various audiences to assist in their overall understanding of product functionality, implementation methodology, and more. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, adult education, curriculum development, or a related discipline preferred
  • 2-4 years experience as a corporate trainer, preferably in a SaaS company
  • 1-3 years of live demo experience 
  • Ability to host live sessions for several hours daily 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communicator
  • An extremely collaborative and cooperative team player mentality 
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of adult learning principles, learning theories, training methodologies, instructional design models, and customer onboarding/education best practices
  • Experience with engaging large audiences and improving technology adoption at scale
  • Solution-oriented; creative problem solver; flexible; goal-oriented
  • Proven ability to plan, manage projects, and handle multiple priorities concurrently with strong results
  • Ability to write and edit effective copy, instructional text, and audio scripts/video scripts
  • Thrives in a rapidly evolving, dynamic environment, with a high level of comfort with ambiguity, and adapts to changing business needs
  • An inclination to review, revise, and practice craft continually to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Proficiency in effective learning strategies and techniques
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with a passion for working closely with SMEs to achieve optimal learner outcomes

Annual US Hiring Range: $80,000 to $90,000

*A candidate’s actual placement within this range will depend on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
