Responsibilities

HR Generalist/Assistant-FULL-TIME

SBHS has an exciting opportunity for an HR professional to join its dynamic Human Resources department as a Generalist/Assistant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: internal and external recruitment, pre-employment processes, maintenance of employee files, employee recognition, and data entering employee changes into Lawson, updating position and evaluation grid, employment verification, worker’s compensation, leave of absences (general, education, medical, FMLA, Military, administrative leaves), new employee orientation, benefits, OSHA log, employee training, employee relations, job descriptions/evaluations, maintaining disciplinary database, employee training, and unemployment compensation.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related area is preferred. Must have a minimum of two (2) years' experience in Human Resources, healthcare experience is very highly preferred. Must have familiarity with HRIS systems and recruiting initiatives.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: PHR is preferred. Primary Source Verification shall be required through HRCI.
