Beaumont Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility)

A new, 144-bed behavioral health facility – Beaumont Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and senior adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues will be offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility will provide a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.

Position Summary for Admission Coordinator

The Admission Coordinator is responsible for answering the hospital switchboard phone, verification of insurances, obtaining signatures on admitting paperwork, and processing of all admitting forms. The Coordinator interfaces with the Intake Department, patients, and nursing units.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma required. 
• Experience verifying insurance required. 
• 1 - 3 years of experience working in an admissions or related department required.
• Phone/switchboard and typing/computer skills required.
• Professional, customer service focused individual with strong communication skills, ability to multi-task and problem solve required

 Work Hours: While the main shift is 2nd shift 3p-11p, a willingness to be flexible and must be available to work rotating weekends.
