UCLA is Hiring an Organizational Change Management Lead, Ascend Near Los Angeles, CA
The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Information Technology Services is seeking an Organizational Change Management Lead with an exceptional commitment to service excellence to join the Financial Transformation Program team, collaborating with diverse and talented team members to implement an enterprise cloud-based financial system that will transform our approach to managing the enterprise. The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead, will lead the OCM team to develop and execute a holistic approach to managing organizational change related to the implementation of the new platform. The OCM Lead will assesses the organizational readiness for change. This will result in the build of the OCM strategy and plan, design and oversight of the stakeholder engagement approach, creation of the communication plan and deliverables, development of a role-based training curriculum and program and oversight of the transition readiness plan to ensure effective adoption and proficiency with the technology, tools, processes and procedures inherent to the Financial Transformation Program. The OCM Lead champions the Financial Transformation Program across campus stakeholder groups, ensuring responsiveness and engagement that prepares the campus for the transition to the new financial platform. General responsibilities include: Applies a structured methodology (e.g. Prosci) to organizational change management and leads change management activities; leads and oversees communication strategy, training, and transition readiness workstreams to ensure alignment with project goals and timeline; Identifies and assesses change impact and develops strategies to promote readiness and change adoption; Evaluates organizational readiness via roadshows/townhalls, assessments/surveys, and department meetings to identify risk and manage resistance; identifies and engages project stakeholder groups and supports their change management and training needs, including the development, initiation, and support of the Financial Transformation Program Change Leader Network; measures and tracks campus implementation readiness and escalates risk areas to the Enterprise Portfolio & Program Management Office (ePMO) and governance committees; supports process improvement efforts within the OCM team and across the UCLA Financial Transformation Program team; and serves as a strategic thought-partner to the UCLA Financial Transformation Program Leadership team. Percentage of Time: 100% Shift Start: 8:00 am Shift End: 5:00 pm Qualifications for Position 16 Records Qualifications Required/Preferred Five or more years of experience in building and managing a multi-disciplinary team of organizational change management, stakeholder management, communications, training and organizational readiness specialists. Required Proven expertise in change management and strategic communications methods and standards within a large-scale enterprise. Required Proven ability to guide execution of communication content to consistently optimize messaging, enhance program goals, and adhere to established standards. Required Exceptional general communication skills including writing, copyediting, presentation, and session facilitation. Required Proven ability to lead and coordinate collaborators in the execution of multiple and interdependent deliverables. Required Demonstrated experience building and managing exceptional relationships to achieve results in line with strategic goals. Required Experience supporting customer needs and articulating a strategy that motivates others to action. Required Ability to manage necessary resources to resolve problems in a timely and effective manner. Required Ability to synthesize complex materials and craft creative, informative, and persuasive engagement for a variety of audiences including the presentation of technical topics to general audiences. Required Possess the verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization; ability to use standard English grammar and punctuation Required Skill and experience to effectively utilize common office productivity software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Outlook, and internet browsers. Required Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Communications, Marketing, Business or English (or related) and five years of experience OR equivalent relevant professional experience combined with education. Required Possess Prosci change management certification. Preferred Experience working within Higher Education Information Technology. Preferred Experience with large-scale systems implementations (i.e. Oracle, Jaggaer, etc.) Preferred Advanced degree in Communications, Business or Organizational Development.
