DescriptionThe Department of Surgery Head and Neck is seeking to hire a limited part time Laboratory Assistant II to assist in the Translational Otolaryngology Neuroscience Laboratory investigating topical methods of protecting the inner ear from injury from ototoxic agents. Specific tasks include: * Various laboratory procedures in cell biology including cell culture, immunohistochemistry, ELISA, microparticle fabrication, and hydrogel creation and assessment. Experience with cell culture is required. * Assisting the PIs in electrophysiologic recording and data analyses and surgical procedures. Limited; may convert to career Pay range: $21.38 - $25.15 hourly.
