UCF Clinical LLC is Hiring a Clinic Receptionist Near Orlando, FL

Job Title:

Clinic Receptionist

Reports To:

The Clinic Receptionist will report to Administrative Manager of UCF Health.

Role:

Performs receptionist duties, providing patient and physician support/services.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Greets and checks in patients; verifies and updates necessary information.
  • Screens calls, takes messages and provides information; answers questions regarding patient appointments.
  • Maintains appointment scheduling, following office scheduling policies; updates doctors' scheduling changes and updates/corrects doctors' schedules for the following day.
  • Performs related work as required.

Performance Measurements:

  • Maintain a professional, friendly and helpful relationship with all patients and co-workers.
  • Verify and update patient information as necessary; update doctors' scheduling changes on a regular basis.
  • Observe all Clinic policies and guidelines.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience - From three months to one year of similar or related experience.
  • Education - A high school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills:

Work normally involves contacts with persons beyond immediate associates generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (customers or vendors) requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
