Uber is Hiring a Global Customer Marketing Manager, Uber for Business Near New York, NY

About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, strategic, customer-centric Global Customer Marketing Manager to join our Uber for Business Global Programs and Operations Team. This person will develop and implement programs that help improve and optimize the customer experience.

The Manager will work collaboratively with business leaders, product marketing, channel sales, and product teams to define priority channels and accelerate performance improvements. They'll be responsible for finding new and innovative approaches to improve the customer experience and engagement. The right candidate is a self-starter, has an interest in uncovering opportunity and pushing the status quo, thrives by digging into the details, and is passionate about advocating for the best customer experience.

What You'll Do

  • Build a multi-channel strategy and implement go-to-marketing programs that drive customer engagement, product usage, and retention.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business priorities - identify, create and prioritize programs to help meet business goals.
  • Cultivate relationships and work with internal and external cross-functional partners across Strategic Operations, Product, Product Marketing, Business Development, CRM, Legal, Regional Marketing and Sales.
  • Secure commitments from cross-functional stakeholders to deliver against priority initiatives to drive revenue gains.
  • Lead brainstorm and prioritization exercises to define levers and opportunities for driving improvements to the post-acquisition customer journey and help define business requirements for features that can be added to product roadmap.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience across various channels, and work as an advocate for our customers internally.
  • Partner with regional marketing teams to understand how global programs can be made locally relevant in a scalable way.
  • Build, maintain and project manage a calendar of global customer programs.
  • Establish a measurement and tracking framework, and own reporting to key stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of B2B Marketing experience, ideally working on acquisition marketing and customer engagement initiatives on a global scale

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience developing GTM plans and driving business results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to bring the Uber for Business brand narratives to life with a strong customer-centric approach - always thinking about how our customers interact with the brand and our partners.
  • A high attention to detail with a sense of urgency to complete tasks and meet deadlines. Comfortable owning multiple projects at one time with varying timelines and stakeholders.
  • A great teammate who enjoys partnering collaboratively with multiple teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving towards decision making.
  • Ability to put together strategic frameworks to be used globally.
  • Comfortable working with small sets of data and using that data to make strategic decisions.
  • Previous Product Marketing experience, inclusive of creating messaging source documents, conducting research, and developing research based insights and personas.
  • Comfort working within a dynamic, fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • A hard-working, thorough, organized, and motivated self-starter, constantly striving to improve your skills and look for ways to contribute to the team. Thrives on challenges and can stay calm in complicated/complex situations.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$123,000 per year - USD$137,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$123,000 per year - USD$137,000 per year.
