In this role you will have the responsibility for delivering top line sales growth by increasing penetration of customer locations with a focus on the corporate, hospitality, education, and healthcare foodservice segments. In addition to direct sales responsibility, you will also act as the primary Headquarter (HQ) contact for key foodservice managed services providers and select Group Purchasing Organization (GPOs). Reporting into the Business Development Manager, you will work in collaboration with the extended field sales, distribution, and specialty segment teams. This individual must have a strong skill set in contract management and negotiation, create, and leverage customer marketing plans, and understand how to use sales data to build and execute a strategic plan in what is a very complex book of business. How you will contribute You will: Leverage the sales data to identify opportunities, build and execute sales activations and close voids. Partner with Foodservice marketing team to use data and resources from Circana, CREST, and Technomic to understand total market opportunities and trends to build growth strategy Growth Mindset - maintain and grow existing accounts and develop a pipeline of new business to achieve channel/individual KPIs and accelerate the business to Vision 2030 Actively use foodservice Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform (HubSpot) to track customer engagement, and incremental wins, track sales pipeline and activities to close sales measured with weekly reporting, as well as to grow the business over a longer-term horizon Negotiate multi-year agreements rooted in Joint Value Creation (JVC) principles Act as the liaison between MDLZ and customer sales teams Join and participate in channel associations and industry networking events. Attend/ network at various customer events, tradeshows, and conferences Travel up to 25-30% that embraces diversity of people, talent, and skills Organize and manage all customer contracts in cycle using IT / cross functional resource Requirements Bachelor’s Degree Required Minimum of 5 years foodservice industry experience within managed services/GPO space Ability to collaborate across functions and bring a “test and learn” entrepreneurial approach to the business Strong financial acumen – forecasting, trade/revenue management and P&L ownership Highly organized and detail oriented Results driven with strong negotiation skills and the ability to deliver win/win outcomes Strong/concise oral and written communicator/storyteller with the ability to both give and receive feedback Models agility and prioritization Highly skilled in MS Office platforms – Excel and PowerPoint Problem Solving & End to End Thinking Candidate should be comfortable when working with the highest levels of corporate management and display excellent interpersonal skills in all interactions, including strong capabilities at developing executive level relationship with the most strategic customers New thinker, innovator who is not afraid to take risks No Relocation support available Business Unit Summary The United States is the largest market in the Mondelēz International family with a significant employee and manufacturing footprint.
