U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC is Hiring an Intern, Human Resources HLK Near Holyoke, MA

Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

  • Support the department going paperless project by organizing and scanning in termed employee files. Create a file for each candidate and ensure the accurate labeling of each document.
  • Post/Update company bulletin boards as needed.
  • Create binder and folders for union and salary new hire candidates. Assist with any first day onboarding for new employees.
  • Assist Human Resource Generalist and Manager with daily tasks. (ie. Filing, copying, scanning, sending emails, etc.)
  • Assist with programs and activities such as year-round employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs for length of service, picnics, and charitable events.
  • Support Human Resources in other day-to-day functions.

Requirements

  • College Student pursuing a Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply principles of business math skills as they apply to Human Resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Demonstrate good judgement and decision making with the ability to analyze situations and present a resolution(s).
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word required, basic knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail/accuracy, ability to multi-task and prioritize, as well as time management skills are highly critical to this role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing; comfortable doing presentations.
  • Must be able to foster and support a teamwork environment, placing an emphasis on excellent customer service.
