Wenger Corporation is seeking a Sales Representative to join our team! As a Sales Representative, you will contribute to Wenger Corporation's strategy to provide an exceptional customer experience by being responsible to proactively pursue all direct sale opportunities in the key strategic markets for a designated selling territory. This includes maximizing sales in new construction, renovation, remodel, and addition projects. Also responsible for pursuing new business development, and achieving goals related to key or strategic product introductions and targeted promotions. Develop competencies, support team initiatives and philosophies to provide superior service and support to the customer. This position's territory includes Austin, TX and the surrounding area.

This job might be for you if:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, specific industry experience or skill sets will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Documented Track record of successful selling.
  • Self-starter, ability to plan and implement territory sales strategy.
  • Comfortable working remotely from home office.
  • Ability to deal effectively and professionally with all types of people and situations.
  • Computer proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, SalesForce is preferred.
  • Ability to present in front of groups.

As a Sales Representative, a typical day might include:

  • Managing Territory through a CRM (SalesForce) program with timely and accurate updates.
  • Plans and coordinates sales trips in assigned territory to maximize sales results.
  • Manage the selling process of identified territory projects and opportunities effectively communicating internally and externally in a timely manner.
  • Sells team product portfolio at established pricing and margins.
  • Develop and execute territory KPI Business plans to achieve company initiatives.
  • Utilizes a consultative sales process.
  • Certify, Schedule, and present company developed AIA accredited courses.
  • Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of company products, processes, markets, competitors, buying influences, customers, and customer processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinates sales pursuit activity as required across different internal company departments.
  • Establishes, documents, and maintains a strong, well-qualified data base of contacts and opportunities.
  • Liaison to Sales Management, Marketing, and other internal delivery partners to provide input and feedback regarding products, programs, and pricing.
