U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer – Salesforce (multiple positions) in Irving, TX.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer - Salesforce will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of U.S. Bank’s Salesforce platform, and leading related offshore meetings when necessary. The position will provide innovative solutions to address complex business objectives and system integrations. This role will work with the Agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles and implementing Salesforce platform development experience designing comprehensive Salesforce solutions for Salesforce Sales Cloud Customer Portal. Specific duties include: designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products on the force.com platform, driving enhancements and improvements; building integrations between salesforce and other internal systems to automate business processes; developing custom Apex code, perform code reviews and ensure successful deployments; creating optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considering scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs; making sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront; taking feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards; conducting code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures; ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices; embracing emerging technology opportunities and contributes to the best practices in support of the bank’s technology transformation; contributing to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement; anticipating and communicating blockers and delays before they require escalation; utilizing coding skills (APEX, LWC/Aura), Lightning Flows, experience with REST/SOAP API Integration and designing in Salesforce Lightning UI; implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud and nCino; modeling and application design and architecture; and, working with IT/Software quality assurance, system testing tools and system/application testing and implementation.
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computer and Information Science and 3 years of related Salesforce development experience.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Analyzing, designing, testing, developing, and maintaining a Salesforce platform, and leading related offshore meetings when necessary. 2) Working with the Agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles and implementing Salesforce platform development experience designing comprehensive Salesforce solutions for Salesforce Sales Cloud Customer Portal. 3) Utilizing coding skills (APEX, LWC/Aura), Lightning Flows, experience with REST/SOAP API Integration, and designing in Salesforce Lightning UI. 4) Working with IT/Software quality assurance, system testing tools and system/application testing and implementation. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master’s program.
Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $120,328 - $150,500
