We are seeking a skilled Content Manager with a background in Learning and Development (L&D) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with vendors and Learning Experience Platforms (LXPs) to curate, develop, and manage content that enhances employee learning and skills development.
Responsibilities:
Proactively curate and source high-quality content to support employee learning and skill development.
Manage content library. Regularly update and refresh existing learning content to ensure relevance, accuracy, and alignment in support of strategic business objectives, learning outcomes and industry best practices. Tag skills, and map skill levels within content pathways.
Conduct regular quality assurance checks on learning content to monitor functionality, accessibility, culture and fit.
Leverage data driven insights to analyze learning data and feedback to assess content effectiveness, identify content gaps, areas for improvement, and make recommendations to increase usage and learner engagement.
Manage strategic partnerships with content providers, to ensure timely delivery of content while maintaining quality standards.
Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and instructional designers to create engaging and effective learning experiences in the LXP, including development of learning pathways and journeys.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in learning and development to continuously improve our content strategy and offerings.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Communications, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
This role has multiple levels, open to candidates with Proven experience of 5 or more years in content management, instructional design, or a similar role within the learning and development field.. The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience working with Learning Experience Platforms (LXPs) and learning management systems (LMS).
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Knowledge of instructional design principles, and adult learning best practices, particularly in the areas of content strategy, content management, and content curation.
Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of training vendors, including learning content, and programs considering business objectives.
Certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar a plus.
Location: The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
