Customer Service/Dispatcher (Logistics/Scheduling)
Location: Millbury, MA (in-office)
Salary: $26 - $30 / hour Benefits

Customer Service/Dispatcher (Logistics/Scheduling) Description

Our client in the power service industry is looking for a Customer Service/Dispatcher to add to their Service Department team in Millbury, MA. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with exceptional company culture. You will act as the liaison between technicians and customers. Primary duties include scheduling service appointments and building the daily schedule for twenty field technicians on the road. Success in this position requires prior experience in scheduling and dispatching and strong phone skills. Beyond that, our client seeks someone personable, reliable and organized to manage competing priorities in a time sensitive environment. Customer Service/Dispatcher (Logistics/Scheduling) Responsibilities

  • Schedule service appointments
  • Create daily work schedule for in-field technicians
  • Work with the Service Department team to resolve issues
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with their needs
  • Promote additional services to customers
  • Respond to customer emergency calls as they arise
  • Review and attach reports and files into the system
  • Verify and update information in the system
  • Email completed service reports to customers
  • Perform routine follow up to confirm customer satisfaction

Customer Service/Dispatcher (Logistics/Scheduling) Qualifications

  • Scheduling/ dispatching experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment required
  • Comfortable navigating a computer required
  • Ability to work onsite required
