Litigation Attorney – HYBRID Description

Our client is looking for a Litigation Attorney to add to their successful and well-respected law firm in Miami, Florida. The Firm promotes a positive work culture, maintains reasonable billable hours, and allows the flexibility to work from home up to 3-4 days per week. In this role, you will join a talented Litigation team to advocate for businesses by supporting their legal needs. The ideal candidate will have business/commercial litigation experience and be results-oriented, positive, and ambitious. Our client is open to hiring a mid-level or senior level attorney. Litigation Attorney – HYBRID Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct depositions, substantive hearings, evidentiary hearings, and trials
• Provide recommendations for resolving legal issues
• Handle cases at any stage of litigation from inception through post-trial
• Work with the Litigation Partner to develop and implement case strategy
• Draft substantive pleadings, motions, briefs, and other necessary legal documents
• Discovery management
• Communicate with clients and provide status updates
• Timely and accurate completion of required administrative tasks
• Demonstrate exceptional legal research and writing skills
• Effectively manage multiple clients and competing priorities

Litigation Attorney – HYBRID Qualifications

• Florida Bar License with eligibility to practice law in good standing is required
• 4 years of business/commercial litigation experience is required
• Private practice billable hours experience is required
• Significant motion practice experience is required
• Experience conducting depositions, substantive hearings, and evidentiary hearings is required
• Familiarity or willingness to learn how to use Apple products is required
