TA PLLC is a law firm offering both domestic and international clients sophisticated legal representation in connection with a wide range of commercial matters, both transactional and dispute-related, including real estate, hospitality, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters, complex commercial litigation, and U.S. and international arbitration. Located in Miami’s Brickell Financial District, TA PLLC regularly counsels both domestic and international clients in multiple languages and jurisdictions that span the globe.

TA PLLC is currently seeking a junior commercial litigation attorney with zero to three years of related experience to join the successful and fast-growing litigation team at our U.S. and Latin American focused practice in our Miami Brickell office.

The ideal candidate will have experience or eagerness to gain experience in all phases of litigation in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration. This will include experience preparing pleadings, overseeing documentary discovery, taking and defending depositions, attending hearings, preparing dispositive motions, and attending trial. Candidates must be ambitious and self-driven and possess outstanding legal research and writing skills, superior analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills. Candidates must also possess the ability to practice collaboratively with members of their team and co-counsel, while exhibiting the competitive yet professional spirit needed to successfully litigate in an adversarial judicial system. The ability to speak and write in Spanish is preferred. Candidates must possess solid academic credentials.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop litigation strategy in conjunction with members of the firm’s litigation team;
• Review documents and evidence with superior attention to detail;
• Conduct legal research regarding complex procedural and substantive issues;
• Preparation of pleadings, motions, correspondence, and written memoranda;
• Strong oral communication skills for use in attending depositions, hearings, and trial;
• Commitment to exceptional client service; and
• Interface with clients and opposing counsel in a professional manner.

Competitive compensation and benefits, salary range will be between $125K to $140K, based on experience and qualifications.
