Responsibilities

  • Client Support: Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Client Onboarding: Assisting clients with the on-boarding process including bill pay, e-sign, and document completion and collection.
  • Claims Management: Assist clients in processing claims.
  • Renewal Management: Proactively reach out to clients for policy renewals.
  • Billing and Payments: Handle billing inquiries, process premium payments, and assist clients in setting up convenient payment options.
  • Documentation and Records: Maintain accurate and organized client records, ensuring compliance with Allstate's data management policies.
  • Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve client complaints and issues in a timely and efficient manner, aiming for customer satisfaction.
  • Remote Work: Be adaptable to perform some job responsibilities remotely, as needed, while maintaining a high level of productivity and professionalism.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a customer service role at an insurance agency, preferably Allstate.
  • Web-based Platform Proficiency: Proficiency with Allstate Dash, e-Agent, Lead Manager, AdvisorPro, Hearsay and Avaya systems. If the applicant has not worked at an Allstate agency, then the ability to learn on their own through written and video job aids is critical. An onboarding educational process is part of the initial training and the entire team is available to help answer questions, but as we are currently living in an ever-changing tech-focused world, the ability to think and learn on your own is critical.
  • Willingness to Learn: Willingness to learn new processes and procedures currently employed by the Agency.
  • Independent Thinker and Operator: Ability to think ahead and perform tasks without having to be told.
  • Insurance Knowledge: While insurance is not mandatory, having a Property and Casualty insurance license is a plus and demonstrates a strong understanding of insurance concepts.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
  • Customer Focus: A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a dedication to client satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address client issues and find appropriate solutions.
  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain accurate records.
  • Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Slack, Zoom, and other software and office applications for data entry and documentation
  • Team Player: Collaborative attitude to work closely with agency staff, agents, and clients.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to remote work arrangements as needed while maintaining performance standards.
  • Ethical Conduct: Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in handling client information and transactions.
