Our ideal candidate will have 3 years of previous experience working in a dental office as an RDA, and is ready to provide exemplary care for our patients. Compensation:$23 hourly DOE
Responsibilities:- Answer any questions the patient may have about dental hygiene, schedule appointments for patient care follow up, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums, after procedures
- Help dentists and dental hygienists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off dental instruments, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team
- Meet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during an appointment
- Measure and document vital signs and medical history for patient records, take x-rays of patients’ mouths, and apply a topical anesthetic for dental procedures, if needed
- Assure all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
- 3 years of dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant
- Active BLS/CPR certification is required
- Computer skills and experience with dental software and updating patient histories is needed
- Associate’s Degree or a certification from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required
- Superb interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are desired
