Under general supervision, this position performs laboratory support functions including but not limited to: phlebotomy of adult and pediatric patients, both in the inpatient and outpatient setting, specimen accessioning, specimen processing, and laboratory clerical functions. Participates on special projects with minimal supervision. Performs the technical duties of operating the laboratory computer system. Required to coordinate the activity of a group of technicians.
