Title: Field Producer

Location: Washington, D.C.Salary: Competitive salary and benefits package based on qualifications; classified as full-time salaried; exempt and not eligible for overtime.Reports to: Katie Rourke, Director of Production

Travel: Occasional international travel may be required (passport required)

Position Overview 

We are currently looking for a Field Producer to join our Tuckernuck Production Team. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for production, photography and travel, with the ability to see a creative vision through from inception to completion. This person will be responsible for bringing the creative vision to life by overseeing the on location production process and coordinating all production activities and operations. Effective project management and communication skills are a plus to ensure that projects are managed efficiently, and on their dedicated timelines. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Understand the overall production process including pre and post production needs and work closely and effectively with other teams 
  • Support and implement processes that improve the development of the production process
  • Work with the Director of Production, Chief Creative Officer and Creative team to ensure that content produced is high quality and reflective of the Tuckernuck brand standards 
  • Keep key internal stakeholders informed and updated during the production process by communicating timelines and changes in an effective, timely manner
    • Work up and down the pre and post production chain to keep projects on on schedule 
  • Own assigned shoot budget and execute within the parameters
  • Source and scout locations that support the creative vision and obtain necessary insurance and permits as required. 
    • Organize and facilitate pre-production including bookings, castings, fittings, location scouting, weather analysis, travel, props, catering, customs paperwork, and more
  • Set location and editorial project schedules and manage calendars for assign projects, including photography, content and video 
  • Coordinate freelance resources determining which is best to use given project scope and lead in the concept and production of brand creative while ensuring all work delivered drives the brand forward
    • Ensure positive working relationships with contractors to support production needs
  • Serve as the main point of contact on set for crew members and models: organizing call times, crew dinners, airport transfers, hotel check-in, and communication between local production and crew, etc
  • Manage logistics on location, in real time to keep production on schedule and budget

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in a Creative and/or Producer role 
  • Proven track record of success leading production for lifestyle campaigns within the evolving digital landscape 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 

  • In-depth knowledge of production management
  • Excellent time management skills and proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at different stages
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates leadership 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
  • Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge
  • Ability to effectively communicate with varying personalities and solve problems as needed 
  • Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude while being solution oriented
