Title: Tooling Technician
Location: Chatham, NY

Schedule: Swing shift alternates one week, 7am - 3pm and the next week 3pm - 11pm

Your role includes developing safety procedures, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting mold setups. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand, follow, and assist in developing safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Have practical machining experience (milling, lathe turning, precision grinding, etc.).
• Use metrology equipment and document results accurately.
• Read mold prints, 3D renderings, and schematics.
• Proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Experienced in injection molding (cooling, venting, steel condition).
• Facilitate effective communication between teams.
• Assist in documenting mold setups and assembly procedures.
• Prioritize daily mold setups and repairs based on WVMS and scheduler.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as per WVMS module.
