Summary

The Design Engineer provides electrical and mechanical designs in support of existing and new radar systems.

Essential Functions

• Provide electronic and mechanical designs.
• Identify support hardware, components and software.
• Reverse engineering and replacement designs.
• Systems test and evaluation.
• Consulting and technical support for repair and manufacturing.
• Performance improvements

Supervision Received

This position is a direct report to the VP of Engineering.

Education and Experience

• Analog, Digital and RF circuit design experience
• Mechanical design experience
• Circuit Card design and layout experience

Physical Factors

The job consists of sitting and standing throughout the day.

Working Conditions

The department for this position is indoors in an office atmosphere with an open area for laboratory equipment. Some outdoor work may be required on outdoor equipment such as vans and antennas.
