TSCG is Hiring a Senior Property Accounting Manager Near Atlanta, GA

TSCG, a privately held commercial real estate company, is looking for an experienced Senior Property Accounting Manager with commercial real estate experience to join our team! This role is part of our Property Management division and will report directly to the Assistant Director of Property Accounting. Commercial/retail real estate property accounting experience is required for this position.

This position is located in Atlanta, Georgia in the Cobb Galleria Office Park. This position is hybrid with an on-site requirement.

Since 1984, our retail real estate platform has provided a full assortment of advisory services to tenants, landlords, developers, investors, and financial institutions throughout our territory. Our work on their behalf is dedicated to the validation of those descriptions. With 20 offices throughout the eastern U.S., we are the largest firm in our field in the United States.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 4 years of commercial property accounting experience
  • Yardi Voyager and MRI experience required
  • Managed a staff of at least 1-3 people
  • Experience managing a team for at least 3 years

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Maintain multiple property accounts for multiple clients.
  • Accurately record income, expenses, and changes in assets and liabilities on a monthly basis.
  • Review reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and applicable schedules to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Review monitoring of cash balances and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Review and prepare cash funding requests.
  • Reassign workload among team as situations arise.
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements.
  • Prepare and assist property management in annual budget process.
  • Update projected cash flow schedules throughout year.
  • Review and calculate annual operating expense recoveries (CAM reconciliation).
  • Maintain tenant ledgers and interact with tenants with disputes.
  • Calculate and prepare management fees.
  • Track projects from start to closure.
  • Monitor tenant sales reporting and calculate percentage rent.
  • Calculate and prepare sales tax returns.
  • Review and prepare monthly distributions to equity partners.
  • Report directly to the Assistant Director of Property Accounting.
