WHAT YOU’LL DO 

In this role you will work with our fund founder and senior leadership, and advance our emerging land development company Starlight Development and the land development and asset management elements of our fund. This is a fast paced, high skill, high reward, very entrepreneurial role, that will acquire, manage, and upgrade the global properties, and assets of the company and self made UHNW founder. Working within the portfolio vision across Canada, US and Caribbean, you will operate independently to insure properties are safe, secure, functioning, and are upgraded in a continual vision of excellence. You will work with key resources in different regions to acquire new land and finished structures, and sources and develop local resources to develop them and stay on track. In your role you will work fairly independent, but also closely with our founder, family office CFO and COS. Travel will be required, but to some of the most amazing places on earth. 

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Senior Real Estate Assistant / Property Manager to join our team and provide crucial support in managing contractors, construction projects on private estates, and assisting an UHNWI with various day to day tasks..

This role supports the founder and CFO / COO of our Family office managing all aspects of a portfolio of properties including operations and financial activities, private estate management,, offering top-notch construction and project management, and delivering unparalleled concierge services.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Property management - You will systematically establish the process, resources and budget to maintain the various properties in our portfolio. You will oversee processes and teams to ensure all resources are compliant and assets are protected, and be a part of the advanced team to make sure places are functioning properly. 
• Construction Management: acquire and lead contractors and construction teams and execute construction projects, large and small at commercial resort locations and private estates. You will have personal ownership, quality, timeliness, and budget success
• Property acquisition: You will work with our fund founder to understand the vision for unique assets in some of the most amazing places on earth, including large land acquisitions, define scope and work with third parties to locate options. Working with key legal and finance resources, you will manage all phases or due diligence and acquisition to successfully achieve acquisition missions around the world. Generally, within vision, acquire at lowest price and maximize upside value of assets.
• Vision and Architecture development: working with the founder and leadership team, you will acquire resources to design and visualize possible projects and adapt and modify them until the vision is aligned and ready to execute. 
• Financial coordination - Work with finance team to set budgets for and initiatives, get multiple quotes, validate expenses, coordinate with lenders where appropriate, and deliver maximum upside
• Hiring - you will acquire team members inside and out where needed including scoping roles and overseeing hiring. 
• Asset management: work with key stakeholders to acquire and manage various transportation assets including marine fleet, aviation assets and land based transport assets. Provide support to an ultra-high-net-worth individual, including managing company assets (e.g. Various Properties, Yachts, Cars, ect) 
• Project Management: miscellaneous project management where needed, including assisting with complex events, travel, and management of function relates concierge resources as needed.
• Project updates: Utilizing visualized tools, gantt charts, budgets, agendas, landscape designs, architect sketches, update the progress on goals.
• Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties, including organizing documents, maintaining records, and managing invoices and expenses.
• Home Staging & Set Up: Lead the the efforts behind home staging, furnishing, technology set up (e.g. Sonos, lighting, smart home systems, alarms, ect) 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING 

• 10 years of proven experience in real estate management and property management. 
• 5 years construction management including renos, lande development, zoning, 
• High trustworthiness with an exemplary track record 
• Excellent project management skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Diverse global, cross country cross state experience 
• Deep experience acquiring resources of all kinds quickly and managing to success
• Previous references that operate in testament to your abilities 
• Experience with ultra-luxury development 
• Experience with land acquisition and development 
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using office software and scheduling tools.
• Discretion and ability to handle confidential information with utmost professionalism.
• Previous experience working directly with, and references from, UHNWIs 
• Ability, and enjoyment to travel in North America and the Caribbean
